B\u00fcy\u00fck olaylar\u0131, kalabal\u0131k sahneleri, \u00e7arp\u0131c\u0131 d\u00f6neme\u00e7leri olan bir hik\u00e2ye de\u011fildi. Sade bir adam, eski bir defter, birka\u00e7 soru ve bir s\u0131n\u0131f vard\u0131. Fakat y\u0131llar sonra Panlektik felsefe \u00fczerine d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcrken o hik\u00e2ye tekrar akl\u0131ma geldi. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc baz\u0131 hik\u00e2yeler ilk okundu\u011funda kendini ele vermez; insan\u0131n i\u00e7inde bekler, zaman\u0131 gelince ba\u015fka bir anlamla geri d\u00f6ner.<\/p>\n<p>Hik\u00e2ye, Selim ad\u0131nda bir \u00f6\u011fretim g\u00f6revlisinin hikayesiydi:<\/p>\n<p>Selim\u2019in babas\u0131ndan kalma eski bir defteri varm\u0131\u015f. Kapa\u011f\u0131 y\u0131pranm\u0131\u015f, baz\u0131 sayfalar\u0131 yerinden gev\u015femi\u015f bu defterde yar\u0131m b\u0131rak\u0131lm\u0131\u015f c\u00fcmleler, \u00fcst\u00fc \u00e7izilmi\u015f notlar ve nereye varaca\u011f\u0131 belli olmayan d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceler dururmu\u015f. Selim y\u0131llar boyunca ara s\u0131ra defteri a\u00e7ar, ayn\u0131 sat\u0131rlar\u0131n \u00fczerinde oyalan\u0131rm\u0131\u015f. Fakat ne zaman okumaya ba\u015flasa, babas\u0131n\u0131n as\u0131l neyi i\u015faret etti\u011fini tam yakalayamadan defteri kapat\u0131rm\u0131\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcniversitede bilgi \u00fczerine ders verirmi\u015f Selim. \u00d6\u011frencilerine bilginin nereden geldi\u011fini, neye dayanarak do\u011fru say\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, insan akl\u0131n\u0131n nereye kadar uzanabildi\u011fini anlat\u0131rm\u0131\u015f. S\u00f6ylediklerinde bir yanl\u0131\u015fl\u0131k yokmu\u015f; ama ders bitip s\u0131n\u0131f bo\u015fal\u0131nca i\u00e7inde hep a\u00e7\u0131klanmam\u0131\u015f bir yer kal\u0131rm\u0131\u015f. Bilgiyi tarif edebiliyor, b\u00f6l\u00fcmlere ay\u0131rabiliyor, kavramlar\u0131n aras\u0131na yerle\u015ftirebiliyormu\u015f. Yine de bir bilginin insanda nas\u0131l uyand\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, nas\u0131l canlan\u0131p ba\u015fka bir y\u00f6ne akt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 anlatam\u0131yormu\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Bir g\u00fcn defteri yeniden kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131rken babas\u0131n\u0131n daha \u00f6nce de g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc bir c\u00fcmlesine rastlam\u0131\u015f:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBilgi elde tutulunca a\u011f\u0131rla\u015f\u0131r; dola\u015f\u0131ma girince hafifler.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bu c\u00fcmle Selim\u2019e eskiden yaln\u0131zca payla\u015fmakla ilgili sade bir \u00f6\u011f\u00fct gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015f. O g\u00fcn ise ba\u015fka t\u00fcrl\u00fc gelmi\u015f. Sanki babas\u0131 bilgiden bir e\u015fya gibi de\u011fil, insanlar aras\u0131nda yer de\u011fi\u015ftirdik\u00e7e canl\u0131 kalan bir \u015fey gibi s\u00f6z ediyormu\u015f. Selim, defteri yan\u0131na al\u0131p ayn\u0131 g\u00fcn eski bir sahafa gitmi\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Sahaf\u0131n sahibi Nihat Efendi, Selim\u2019in babas\u0131n\u0131 tan\u0131rm\u0131\u015f. Selim defteri ona g\u00f6sterip baz\u0131 notlar\u0131 anlamakta zorland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemi\u015f. Nihat Efendi deftere \u015f\u00f6yle bir bakm\u0131\u015f, sonra Selim\u2019e babas\u0131n\u0131n bilgiyi kapal\u0131 bir sand\u0131k gibi g\u00f6rmedi\u011fini anlatm\u0131\u015f. Ona g\u00f6re bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce, kendi ba\u015f\u0131na tamamlanm\u0131\u015f say\u0131lmazm\u0131\u015f; bir insana de\u011fdi\u011finde, onun hayat\u0131nda kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k buldu\u011funda i\u015flemeye ba\u015flarm\u0131\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Selim o s\u0131rada raftaki eski kitaplardan birini eline alm\u0131\u015f. Sayfalar\u0131 \u00e7evirirken kenara d\u00fc\u015f\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fcc\u00fck bir not g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015f:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBurada dur.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bu iki kelime onu beklemedi\u011fi kadar etkilemi\u015f. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc o sat\u0131r\u0131n yan\u0131nda bir zamanlar ba\u015fka biri durmu\u015f olmal\u0131ym\u0131\u015f. \u015eimdi ayn\u0131 sat\u0131r\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcnde kendisi duruyormu\u015f. Kitap de\u011fi\u015fmemi\u015f, c\u00fcmle yerinde kalm\u0131\u015f; fakat ona bakan insan de\u011fi\u015fmi\u015f. Selim ilk kez o kadar a\u00e7\u0131k sezmi\u015f ki bilgi, yaln\u0131zca sayfada duran \u015fey de\u011filmi\u015f. Bir c\u00fcmle, ancak bir insana rastlay\u0131nca yeniden a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131yormu\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Biraz sonra sahafa gen\u00e7 bir \u00f6\u011frenci girmi\u015f. Okul i\u00e7in birka\u00e7 kitap ar\u0131yormu\u015f. Selim\u2019in elindeki defteri g\u00f6r\u00fcnce ne oldu\u011funu sormu\u015f. Selim de \u201cEski bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce,\u201d demi\u015f. \u00d6\u011frenci, eski d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerin daha do\u011fru olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 merak etmi\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Selim uzun uzun a\u00e7\u0131klamam\u0131\u015f. Baz\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerin \u00e7ok insana u\u011frad\u0131k\u00e7a derinle\u015fti\u011fini s\u00f6ylemi\u015f. \u00d6\u011frenci bu kez fikirlerin de yolculuk yap\u0131p yapmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 sormu\u015f. Selim, bazen bir \u015fark\u0131 gibi insandan insana ge\u00e7tiklerini anlatm\u0131\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Bu k\u0131sa konu\u015fma Selim\u2019in zihninde kalm\u0131\u015f. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc arad\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u015fey, o g\u00fcn soyut bir tan\u0131m olarak de\u011fil, k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fma olarak belirmi\u015f. Bir soru gelmi\u015f, bir insana de\u011fmi\u015f ve oradan ba\u015fka bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce do\u011fmu\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Ertesi hafta Selim s\u0131n\u0131fa o eski kitab\u0131 g\u00f6t\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015f. \u00d6\u011frencilerine bilgi \u00fczerine haz\u0131r bir tan\u0131m vermek yerine kitab\u0131 elden ele dola\u015ft\u0131rm\u0131\u015f. \u00c7ocuklar kitab\u0131n eski sayfalar\u0131na, kenar notlar\u0131na, ba\u015fkalar\u0131n\u0131n b\u0131rakt\u0131\u011f\u0131 izlere bakm\u0131\u015flar.<\/p>\n<p>Sonra kendili\u011finden konu\u015fmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015flar.<\/p>\n<p>Bir \u00f6\u011frenci, bir t\u00fcrk\u00fcn\u00fcn kendisine tarih kitab\u0131ndan daha \u00e7ok \u015fey \u00f6\u011fretti\u011fini s\u00f6ylemi\u015f. Ba\u015fka biri, annesinin yemek yaparken hi\u00e7bir \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fc kullanmadan kurdu\u011fu dengeyi anlatm\u0131\u015f. Bir di\u011feri, iki insan aras\u0131ndaki bir tart\u0131\u015fman\u0131n bazen yeni bir bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 do\u011furabildi\u011fini fark etti\u011fini s\u00f6ylemi\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Selim o g\u00fcn ayn\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin her \u00f6\u011frencide ba\u015fka bir kap\u0131 a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015f. Bilgi, tek bir a\u011f\u0131zdan \u00e7\u0131k\u0131p herkese ayn\u0131 bi\u00e7imde yerle\u015fmiyormu\u015f. Kiminin haf\u0131zas\u0131na, kiminin evine, kiminin k\u0131rg\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131na u\u011frayarak de\u011fi\u015fiyor; her insanda ba\u015fka bir anlam kazan\u0131yormu\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Ders bittikten sonra Selim babas\u0131n\u0131n defterini yeniden a\u00e7m\u0131\u015f. Kalemini \u00e7\u0131karm\u0131\u015f, bir s\u00fcre beklemi\u015f. Sonra yazmaktan vazge\u00e7mi\u015f. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc art\u0131k baz\u0131 c\u00fcmlelerin defterde tamamlanmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 anlam\u0131\u015f. Fakat Panlektik felsefe a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan bak\u0131nca hik\u00e2yenin daha derin bir yere i\u015faret etti\u011fini g\u00f6r\u00fcyorum.<\/p>\n<p>Selim\u2019in babas\u0131ndan kalan defter, tek ba\u015f\u0131na bilginin kendisi de\u011fildir. Defter yaln\u0131zca bir imk\u00e2n ta\u015f\u0131r. O imk\u00e2n, Selim ona yeniden d\u00f6nd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde hareketlenir. Sahaf, eski kitap, kenar notu, \u00f6\u011frencinin sorusu ve s\u0131n\u0131ftaki konu\u015fmalar bu hareketi geni\u015fletir.<\/p>\n<p>Panlektik d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncede bilgi, sahip olunan kapal\u0131 bir nesne gibi durmaz. Bir fikir, bir insana temas eder; o insan onu kendi hayat\u0131, haf\u0131zas\u0131 ve sorusuyla kar\u015f\u0131lar. B\u00f6ylece yeni bir anlam alan\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131r. Hik\u00e2yede bunu a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a g\u00f6r\u00fcr\u00fcz: Ayn\u0131 c\u00fcmle Selim\u2019de ba\u015fka, sahaf\u0131n s\u00f6zlerinde ba\u015fka, \u00f6\u011frencinin sorusunda ba\u015fka, s\u0131n\u0131ftaki \u00f6rneklerde ba\u015fka bir h\u00e2l al\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Bu y\u00fczden hik\u00e2yenin merkezinde basit bir payla\u015fma \u00f6\u011f\u00fcd\u00fc yoktur. Daha derinde, bilginin ancak dola\u015f\u0131m i\u00e7inde canl\u0131 kalabilece\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi vard\u0131r.
